Troutfitters is located at mile 48.2 of the Sterling Highway in Cooper Landing - a beautiful two hour drive from Anchorage. As you exit the airport follow signs for Seward Highway South. Enjoy the next two hours as you drive down the Turnagain Arm and into the Chugach Mountains.

The Turnagain Arm has the second highest tides in the world with a 44 foot difference from high to low tides and 6 foot bore tides. At the junction of Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 9 follow the directions to Homer and the town of Kenai for about 12 miles to Cooper Landing. After you cross the Kenai River Bridge look for us on the left side of the road.
